I think as a secondary school teacher, podcasts will be a valuable tool for me to utilize. One difficulty that I will face will be computer incompatibilities between my computer at home and the one I use at school. However, with some planning, I should be able to overcome this hurdle. Additionally, I can envision using a "station" type approach to teaching biology similar to that used in physical education. My stations would incorporate a series of podcasts and other hands-on methods.

reflections on IPhoto

After revisiting IPhoto, I will give serious thought to creating books for my labs when I start teaching Biology. It will be a good resource for both students that were absent and those that need a little extra "TLC". However the most critical factor is obtaining an Apple laptop!

After viewing the movie detailing the hurdles that disabled students face just to get an education, I am overwhelmed and grateful. I am overwhelmed at the fortitude of the students and their parents. I am grateful that I have the educational history of an able bodied citizen of the United States. Also I am grateful that I have been blessed with three healthy children.
